Introduce your business and what you do there. I’m the business manager of the Presbyterian Church of the Master.
What challenge were you trying to address with BRITECITY? Our firewall license expiration date was coming up, so we needed to renew for another two years. We also had issues in our system, such as slowdowns and bottlenecks.
What was the scope of their involvement? BRITECITY initially contacted us to say that our firewall license was coming due. We could either pay for the renewal of the license or buy a new one.
Our leadership team decided to buy a new one and had a meeting with BRITECITY to learn what that entailed. Their team bought a new firewall and installed it, doing a speed test before and after the installation. At present, the BRITECITY team provides us with managed IT services.
They support our IT infrastructure. What is the team composition? We work with 2–3 teammates from BRITECITY, including a firewall specialist and a teammate involved in purchasing the license.
How did you come to work with BRITECITY? BRITECITY was already signed up as our IT specialist before I joined the church. I’ve worked with them at other organizations, so I had no problem continuing to work with them.
How much have you invested with them? We’ve invested around $4,800. What is the status of this engagement?
The engagement started in January 2019, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? BRITECITY has done a good job of providing us with options, details, and recommendations for hardware that optimizes our system. We’re happy with the team, and we’ve seen an increase in user bandwidth.
How did BRITECITY perform from a project management standpoint? BRITECITY has followed through and done what they said they would do. The team is very quick to respond to technical issues.
We communicate through email. What did you find most impressive about them? We’re impressed with BRITECITY’s ability to quickly respond.
Are there any areas they could improve? No, there aren’t any. They’re perfect for our organization.
Do you have any advice for potential customers? BRITECITY has a good formula, and their team is in a good place. If you follow their team members’ lead, you’ll do well.
