Andrew grew up in Whittier CA, and now lives in La Mirada, CA. He recently graduated from Biola University with a BA in Communication Studies, personal emphasis in Non-Verbal Communication and Aesthetics. I asked Andrew a few more questions…
How long have you been with briteCITY?
Eight months
What do you do for briteCITY?
My title is Support Coordinator. I answer our client’s phone calls, send tickets to our IT Professionals, plan company events, and help keep the office atmosphere going.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I really enjoy planning the company events. The events help keep the atmosphere/culture light, friendly and enjoyable for our IT Professionals.
What is one thing that makes briteCITY great?
The leadership. The vision and the heart Chad and Scott have for the company truly shows through in their treatment of the customers and employees.
What is the weirdest job you have ever had?
I haven’t really had a weird job yet. All my past jobs have been fun, interesting, exciting, challenging, but not to the point where I thought they were weird.
Where is your favorite place to be?
Currently, at the rock climbing gym. I can de-stress, be active, and clear my head while I am climbing. In general, at the heart of any big city, Seattle, Denver, LA etc.
When you aren’t working, what do you love to do?
Rock climb, Teach/play tennis, eat, and hang out with my community of friends.
What does leadership mean to you?
Leadership takes integrity, wisdom, and honesty. Knowing that your decisions will affect other people and having the foresight to not take those decisions lightly is key. Along with understanding that you can’t do it on your own. Leadership is a responsibility that you can’t take lightly.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
Family/friends
If you could have a different job for one day, what would you want to do?
Be a production manager for a Broadway show. I would enjoy the craziness behind the scenes and being a part of something on such a large scale would be thrilling.
What is your favorite Book, Movie & Song?
Book: Alice in Wonderland. Movie: I don’t have one, I prefer to watch TV shows more than movies. Therefore, White Color and Lie to Me are my favorite TV shows. Song: There are way too many good choices.
Apple or Android?
Android. I don’t have a snarky comment that shows my devotion to Android and my dislike of Apple in a witty and clever way, therefore my answer is simply Android.
