| Description | BRITECITY provides outsourced IT Support (remote and onsite) to small businesses in the Orange County, CA area. Applicant must live in the Orange County area. We are looking to hire an experienced IT engineer. This position require excellent communication skills, technical troubleshooting, the ability to stay on task and ability to accurately track and document all time and activities. Positive attitute and comittment to quality customer service is essential. Ideal candidates should bring a minimum of 8 years computer industry experience, with 3 years of experience with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) strongly preferred. Microsoft and COMPTIA certifications are a plus. Hands on experience with the following technologies • Windows Server environments using Hyper-V • Experience with Azure and private clouds. • Installation/Update of networking equipment including Firewalls, Switches, Wireless APs. • Experience with Microsoft Exchange environments (on-prem and O365) • Physical Site relocations • VOIP configurations • Client and User Onboarding • Egnyte File Sharing • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and the ability to diagnose networking issues. • Strong knowledge of Windows Networks, including Active Directory, Security and Group Policies. • Meraki Firewalls • Unifi Firewalls, Switches and Access Points • Windows RDS • Sharepoint Physical Demands Duties of this position requires installation of server and network equipment. May require the need to stand for extensive periods of time; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May be required to move or lift to 50 pounds.
